description
Visit one of our 90 lovely small eco-farms co-operating within a network coordinated by the European Centre for Ecological Agriculture and Tourism--Poland. We promote small-scale organic farming together with eco-tourism. Your visit will help us to put our ideas about a sustainable future into practice. Real countryside, real food, real rest and real people at their home -- you can find all these on our eco-farms. If you want to find out more -- contact us. We also have Polish, English, German and Dutch brochures with the addresses and descriptions of all the Polish farms and their surroundings.
rooms, food and facilities
We offer cosy camping and/or lodging on small organic farms in Poland. In the most beautiful natural areas, especially in mountainous regions, tourists can meet with local people, learning both about the local culture and environmentally-friendly farms. These farms are well-suited for people who appreciate a quiet atmosphere, unspoiled nature, unchanged traditions and healthy food. And the farmers especially appreciate the cultural and informational exchange, as well as the increase in their income from eco-tourism, which they happily reinvest into organic agriculture.
how this holiday makes a difference
|
The principal goal of the association is to introduce ecotourism to the farms to promote and popularise ecological agriculture & healthy lifestyles which also protect the environment. The pilot Eco-Agro-Tourism project (EAT) can be cited as a prime example of past environmental activity and achievement (a majority of whose participants were women farmers—the target population of the present project).

Tourism can be good and bad for destinations & local people. We carefully screen every holiday against our criteria for responsible travel. 'Look behind the brochure' to find how each holiday makes a difference (see left). We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've led the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays. We invite every traveller to write a review about their experiences and responsible tourism. This valuable feedback is sent to the people who run the holidays. We keep a very close eye on it and take off holidays that don't live up to our standards. |
