Our house is ideal for anyone who likes to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The charm of the house is the fact that it is centered around a secluded courtyard which brings a feeling of peace and security. There is a feeling of being cocooned from the rest of the world while being close enough to it, just walking out of the door will get you into the village environment immediately and the rest of the island is very easy to get to as we are very central. The closest town is Limassol just 20 minutes away The house is particularly suitable for couples who want to relax or families who want to be on their own. We often let the house as a villa for family get together's. Families can let their children wander round the village and we can take them to our orchard to pick fruit etc. The sea is just a 5 minutes drive away so you can take the kids to the beach whenever you feel like it then come back home and relax.
Baby Friendly:
We provide cots free of charge. If a child is too old for a cot then we charge £6 per day for the extra bed.
Our house is ideal for young children. We have the secluded courtyard so once the front door is closed they are safely enclosed
Walking accommodation
There are about 48 paths or trails in Cyprus, organised by the forestry department and documented by the Cyprus Tourist organization. A recent addition is the European Long Distance path E4 which starts in Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, mainland Greece, Crete then finishing off in Cyprus. The Cyprus section of the E4 path starts at Paphos airport and ends at Larnaca airport. The Nature trails have been carefully designed to cover areas of rich natural vegetation and cultural interest.
Walking in Cyprus is a joy, especially in the spring and late autumn when its not very hot and the natural flora and fauna are in full bloom There are many endemic flowers to be found on the island, one of these is the Cyclamen cyprium which has now been designated the National Flower of Cyprus. Our accommodation is a great base for exploring as all trails are within short driving distance, the farthest being about an hours drive, so you can appreciate many of them while staying in the nice relaxing environment of our house and within close proximity of our orchard which is just a few minutes stroll from the house.

Agrotourism is encouraging the development of the village economy and thus giving the village dweller the incentive to stay where he is and not go off to the towns to seek employment. It also encourages the people to develop the nature trails and work on the land; it gives them a greater pride in the countryside round the village while at the same time giving them ideas on how they can demonstrate their skills. As well as giving them the ability to mix with people from many walks of life and from all over the world. Tourism has opened up the village and broadened the horizons of the occupants and had a positive impact on the local economy. |
Tourism can be good and bad for destinations & local people. We carefully screen every holiday against our criteria for responsible travel. 'Look behind the brochure' to find how each holiday makes a difference (see left). We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've led the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays. We invite every traveller to write a review about their experiences and responsible tourism. This valuable feedback is sent to the people who run the holidays. We keep a very close eye on it and take off holidays that don't live up to our standards. |
