Imagine giving your partner an island as a present.. Port Antonio is the essence of a romantic hideaway and a perfect place for a wedding.

The Aga Khan actually gave his wife Pelu Island, just off the coast, as his wedding gift. Unfortunately there are not that many islands left to give away, but you can get married or invite your partner to a romantic retreat.

Enjoy intimate moments together lazily rafting down the Rio Grande on a bamboo raft or take a boat-ride and enjoy the scenic coastline passing the famous Pelu Island and Blue Lagoon.

Port Antonio has so much to offer - from the most romantic Frenchman's Cove (Jamaica's most beautiful beach) to the secluded Reach Falls, to the casual Long Bay, to the most spectacular sunsets overlooking the Blue Mountains and the Harbour with Navy Island.

Whether for Valentines Day or reaffirming your marriage vows, celebrating an anniversary ...or just to say "I love you". Take the time and the opportunity to communicate your feelings in one of the most romantic settings imaginable.

Our Wedding package includes: Marriage license, non-denominational marriage officer, bridal bouquet & groom boutonniere, wedding cake, bottle of sparkling wine, witnesses, floral decoration of the terrace and reception area, and photographs (36).

Wherever possible we try and improve. We seek to reduce consumption of energy and natural resources as far as possible by careful housekeeping and implementation of the state-of-art technology. We use naturally based, close-to-source products, avoiding those that are scarce or under threat. We do not buy individually packaged, single use, disposable items.

Tourism can be good and bad for destinations & local people.

We carefully screen every holiday against our criteria for responsible travel.

'Look behind the brochure' to find how each holiday makes a difference (see left).

We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've led the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays.

We invite every traveller to write a review about their experiences and responsible tourism.

This valuable feedback is sent to the people who run the holidays. We keep a very close eye on it and take off holidays that don't live up to our standards.
