description
Our Ecuador cloud forest ecolodge is built around previously existing trees. This took some time and effort, but was clearly worth it, as you’ll see when you visit. The whole building allows guests to rest in open-air areas, protected from the rain by an arcade running all around. On the roof, you’ll find a terrace with a panoramic view.
We have built a small gem allowing guests to live at the very best a situation that is only to be experienced. We decided to build a jungle ecolodge with a foot inside the wood and the result is that we have built all around some trees already there before our arrival. The restaurant is dedicated to residents and therefore isn’t going to be very crowded and noisy. One can eat inside or outside and have a choice of Ecuadorian and Italian cooking.
The birding activities in our packages take place walking along the trails of our Reserve and in the surroundings and will be held with the assistance of a local guide specialized in bird watching in the Cloud Forest of Mindo. If you prefer a more general approach, we have a naturalistic guide, who will follow you along the trails showing the main characteristics of the Cloud forest.

'Look behind the brochure' to find how each holiday makes a difference (see left). We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've led the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays.
