Glastonbury B & B accommodation
Welcome to our home, please come and enjoy while you relax and rejuvenate.

Our bedrooms have spectacular views as does the guest lounge where, if the weather is inclement, warm in the glow of the log fire. Breakfast, if you want, is a leisurely affair and although only served between 08:30 am and 09:00 am can be lingered over or have that last cup of tea or coffee in the lounge or on one of the patios. If you wish you can float away, privately or with friends, in our soothing hydrotherapy pool or indulge in one of our therapies.

Wander into the Angelic Garden, walk the labyrinth or just sit a while, watch the newts or inwardly reflect and allow the peace to envelope you. For exercise climb the Tor saunter to the Chalice Well Gardens or a 15 minute walk into town to visit Glastonbury Abbey, our shops and restaurants.
special things to do and see here
As well as bed & breakfast, we offer many forms of healing from Reiki to Hydrotherapy Spa treatments. With our mini Spa, hand tailored healing breaks can always be created to suit your needs.

how this holiday makes a difference
We use energy efficient light bulbs and turn off lights and equipment when not in use, any new equipment brought is energy efficient. We have two water butts, one of which is attached to the bath water, as although most of the rooms have en-suite electric showers we do have a bath for guest use. When toilets and taps are replaced then half flush cisterns and low flow taps are installed. A large number of the cleaning products we use are eco-friendly.

We have a beautiful garden and use mainly green products, composting garden waste, kitchen waste is either fed to the badgers if they are visiting or passed to the communal waste recycling system. Cardboard, glass, newspapers, fabric, wood products and metal are all recycled we only use the occasional carrier bag and these are recycled or given to local shops.

Michael has been a chief mover in Glastonbury Lets and Time Bank groups having been a member for well over 10 years. Obviously in a small town community where possible we employ local staff, local trades people and source local food. We are a member of the ‘Levels Best’ group which promotes food and services from the Somerset Levels. Michael is a trustee of Glastonbury First a local charity which supports local community groups. Our room browsers contain details of places to visit, local restaurants and local services.

Tourism can be good and bad for destinations & local people.

We carefully screen every holiday against our criteria for responsible travel.

'Look behind the brochure' to find how each holiday makes a difference (see left).

We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've led the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays.

We invite every traveller to write a review about their experiences and responsible tourism.

This valuable feedback is sent to the people who run the holidays. We keep a very close eye on it and take off holidays that don't live up to our standards.
