We only feature beachfront suites & rooms with large bathroom and veranda, offering spectacular ocean and beach views. Our rooms have comfortable beds (king or two singles), hardwood and rattan furniture and Italian tiles. Each suite has a small, complete kitchenette and can sleep 1-2 on the sofa.
Local gourmets make a journey to have lunch at our specialty restaurant Aloe Vera. The beach restaurant bar and grill is one of the most romantic restaurants in Grenada and serves local foods right at the beach. Once a week you are welcome to join our Chef in classes in French cooking with Caribbean accents.
Our green eco spa uses fresh Aloe Vera, scrubbing agents and seaweed, and our small gym has the most important equipment to keep you healthy and fit: the gorgeous ocean and beach views during workout. The resort sports classes (Sundays) include aerobics, Tai-bo and kickboxing or you can try our ocean kayaks. Grenada offers world class snorkelling & diving.
There are forest trail hikes and easy walks along beach and ocean; you will love Grenada’s outdoor nature. From the resort you can walk for hours and just meet fishermen. Or pack your adventure backpack (included!) and hike the mountain track and trail.
You can swim in the island's waterfalls, visit an ancient slave pen and the world’s smallest chocolate factory and see fruit, nutmeg and cocoa plantations. Our Caribbean tropical island paradise offers rain forests, crater lakes, mangroves and great ocean and beach views. Meet the local culture at the weekly cultural festival.
Super inclusive add-on: Includes served to table breakfast, lunch at the beach (on Sunday our 7 course gourmet brunch), 4 course gourmet dinner, all house drinks, cocktails, wines and champagne as well as these activities: whale/dolphin watching, a catamaran trip, scuba diving, golf (9 course), horseback riding, 1-2 person ocean kayaks, walks and hikes, island tours as well as massages and other spa treatments (weekdays) and use of the gym. Single supplement US $40 per day.
Volunteer vacations (min 3 weeks, 6 weeks preferred): You can make a difference by joining in one of our social programs, such as crop farmers revitalisation program (1 Nov-15 Dec 2007, 15 Apr - 15 Dec 2008), social education at schools (year round except school holidays) and green energy/conservation awareness programs (year round). We recognise your hard work, so cover local transportation, communication, tools and accommodation costs. Please note the Super Inclusive add-on is additional, or for a more simple experience, we can refer you to a guesthouse or offer a meals-only plan. Please contact us for details.

how to find us
We are located at the South East part of Grenada. Taxis take about 35 minutes and cost less than US $30. how this holiday makes a difference
We hire local staff where possible so the area benefits from our presence. We buy or produce organic meat and vegetables locally. After hurricane Ivan we setup Recovery Grenada Council to distribute food, water, medicines, vitamin pills, seeds and Christmas presents in the wide area. Every year we support community project(s). For 2007 this was a contribution of US $8230 to help reconstruct the Berean Christian Academy in Grenada. We support local community organisations with food and drinks for their activities.
In March 2007 we installed a 80 kW windmill with an expected yearly yield of 160,000 – 180,000 kWh. With an estimated yearly use of 120,000 kWh the resort will be better than zero carbon, once the connection to the mains is realized. To minimize the energy consumption the resort uses air conditioners with heat recovery units, which convert the heat loss into hot water, in addition to solar water heaters. In addition, a high efficiency dish washer with hot water connection is installed. Although with a smaller impact, energy saving lamps combined with solar lights are used. Energy efficient (class A) refrigerators and washing machines will be installed soon. We encourage other resorts to use wind energy and assist them in their feasibility study, give practical advice and offer assistance in installing by a factory trained team.
We have built a surface well with underground channels to collect the rainwater from the hills around the resort. As there is no industry nor agriculture the water is extremely pure, so filtering is almost an unnecessary luxury. For the drinking water, we go to a source in the mountains, the same water as used for commercially bottled source water.
We ask our guests to cooperate in combining full cars for tours. When guests go to town, we request them to take the bus rather than a taxi (on a voluntary basis). We ask guests to keep using he towels and bed linen as long as is comfortable for them.
We give guests big bars of soap and large shampoo bottles and plan to convert to soap and shampoo dispensers soon. We purchase as much as possible locally made goods. For every guest we buy carbon credits to compensate the net carbon emission caused by flights, stay and activities. We are the first resort in the world to compensate both flights and stay: a Carbon Free Vacation
