how this holiday makes a difference
We have implemented numerous green measures to help protect the environment, these include using AA & A Energy Rated appliances, energy saving light bulbs, recycling glass, aluminium and paper products and using recyclable products. We compost bed & breakfast and home items, such as paper, egg shells, egg boxes, and we recycle glass and aluminium and excess old paper is used for fuel for log fires. We have a double flush system on all toilets and notices for guests regarding towel washing in all rooms to conserve water. We have energy saving light bulbs throughout the bed & breakfast and electricity is monitored throughout year. We have bird feeders and bird books in the B&B and gardens. Dead wood in the woodlands is left to encourage insects. We use non-toxic cleaning products and recycled black bags and toilet roll.
