Our Menorca hotel has 2 buildings in a large garden space at the entrance of Port Mahon. One is Georgian style with rooms overlooking the sea, gardens or country. The second is traditional style with the suites surrounded by gardens.
Menorca is one of the last undiscovered paradises in the Mediterranean, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. It is one of the few remaining places where is still possible to encounter virgin beaches only inhabited by both beautiful birds and a great diversity of marine life.
The best things about Menorca are its people, their culture and traditions, conservation of the environment, nature, its prehistoric monuments and the colours of the countryside.
The accommodation offers suites for a pleasant stay with private terrace, and spacious deluxe rooms with four-poster bed and terrace with privileged views. The terraces, solarium & pool with bar service are in the gardens. It is a perfect place to miss time with a good lecture and a drink, simply enjoying a good meal or may be a massage.

We have 8 rooms and 2 suites, all are en suite with air conditioning, stereo, telephone, minibar, safe, internet and satellite television. Each bedroom is different and decorated in exquisite taste with careful attention to detail. All the furniture is colonial style and some beds are four-poster. We can provide additional services for our guests such as car hire, yacht or motor launch hire, horse riding lessons, kayak excursions, diving lessons, dives, specially marked routes for cyclists or walkers, birds observation, green fees on an eighteen hole golf course and information about cultural routes and traditional fiestas. 
Other services offered: Picnics, child care, massage, natural products, farm animals, weddings and celebrations of friends and relatives, responsible business services. Disabled access: We have one room prepared to disabled guests and all the main facilities (pool, restaurant, bar, cafeteria, gardens) are accessible for them. There is a special parking place close to the prepared room and a special area in the main parking as well.
Family & baby friendly: Children can enjoy with our gardens, play area, pool and farm animals. We have special menus for them. We reccommed to the families to use a suite or a room with more spaces, and then we will be able to add an additional bed for children. Teens can use a separated room. We have complimentary cots at the disposal of our smallest guests. For our smallest guests we can prepare baby food made in the traditional manner and, of course, according to the instructions of the parents.

how this holiday makes a difference

We collaborate with the historical heritage of Menorca and at the same with the current islands needs, by means of contracting local staff, providers and goods. In the restaurant all food are mainly from the island, the vegetables are gathered directly from our own kitchen garden, every morning we go to the market to select the best products for our table, and fish and seafood are bought daily from local fishermen.
 We have changed all the traditional lights to low consumption; all the rooms have contactors to reduce the use of air conditioned (distributed saving), the main pumps and machinery for aircon is only running few hours a day and depending on the outdoor temperature (central saving). We have a project to change all the heat production for water and the pool to solar energy and currently we are looking for financial support. We are planning to introduce geothermic technology for generating cold to air con (summer) and the solar energy for obtaining heat (winter).We collect all the waste water and cleaning it in our own depurator station. Then we use it for watering the gardens. We use recycled products as possible and we have a policy to save paper. We collect the different wastes generated and classify it in several categories: plastics, oils, metals, paper, glass. Then we put what we have classified in specialized municipal containers for making easy the recycling process. As well we compost at home as much we can and the we use in our land and gardens. |
