Cooking lessons: We are delighted to announce that the hotel has been inspired to create a cookery school inside the hotel. The cookery school is for everyone who has a passion for food and wishes to have fun preparing it. The cookery courses will provide a hands-on opportunity to develop the participants their culinary skills in a practical and supportive learning environment, as well as being a holiday in the most luxurious and beautiful surroundings and a chance to make new friends.Other activities include excursions to the most important places of Halkidiki and special packages for wine tasting in the most famous wineries.
Walking and cycling: For cycling and walking there are special maps and guides for the walking and cycling roads of the area.

The junior, senior, deluxe and prive pools suites have been designed in Mezonette style, in a traditional Greek architectural style with beautiful handcrafted stone, ceramic and wood. Each suite has its own private terrace and garden. All suites have fireplace, air conditioning, fridge, living room, direct dial phone, fretle linen sheets, Italian furnishings, custom - mode beds with hand - made wrought iron bed heads, beauty products, TV and fax on request. The hotel has an outdoor pool, breakfast room, restaurant, playground, gourmet restaurant seminar hall.

The hotel is a romantic boutique hotel situated in Afytos village in Halkidiki. Afytos is a very beautiful resort, situated in the peninsula of Kassandra in Halkidiki. It is built on a rock, which dominantly towers over the sea and looks a lot like an island of the Aegean. We special attention to the gardens of the hotels and to the fine service that we try to provide to our guest. We use environmentally friendly products, we separate our garbage, use sustainable energy sources and recycled and natural building materials. The sustainable energy sources we use now are sun (solar panels for hot water). We use energy efficient light bulbs in all of our suites. Half of our suites have shower and half flush toilets.
We also collect waste oil from our restaurants and recycle it into bio-diesel which will enable us to produce our own 100% clean energy. All the cleaning products that we use are friendly to the environment, also we have special colored waste basket to all the hotel in order the clients to help us to separate the garbage. Our environmentally conscious approach applies to everything. To start with we only purchase organic food from growers and people in order to support sustainable practices. We also use a biological cleaning system and all the water that the system produce we use to irrigate the plants in our garden. We employ local staff and we always use the topical olive oil and honey. The number that we employ is 7 persons. The local staff works in our hotel from the day that the hotel operates. Most of the vegetable that we use in the restaurant is from our gardens and the rest is from local farmers. We also buy the meat from a local butcher that has a nice farm. We also use the local services for example nikos Makris is a cabinet maker that uses only physical wood material. The hotel is involved in the local community by supporting the culture club of Afytos Village by offering every year an amount of money to help the club to organise Greek traditional cultural events in the summer period. The hotel is supporting the local community by organising special events for the children of the local area in the period of Christmas and Easter. Also we offer money to the local church the amount of 1000 euro ever year for the people who are homeless. In the summer time a lot of local artists use our special exhibition room and gardens as well to expose their arts. |
