Future Forests

When we travel by car or plane we cause carbon emissions that contribute to global warming and climate change. You can reduce the damage by visiting local destinations that require shorter journeys, car sharing, and by using public transport or more sustainable transport such as low emission cars, walking or cycling.

However, many of us do want (and need to) make longer journeys by car or plane. We have partnered with Future Forests who will plant trees to reabsorb your CO2 or contribute to a carbon reduction project in a developing country. Either will 'neutralise' your emissions and make your flight Carbon Neutral.

You can use the Future Forests site here to calculate your emissions and then pay for trees to be planted - for example for £7 Future Forests will plant one tree to offset the emissions of a flight from London to New York.
