Settling children into kids clubs
We understand that every child is different, some children settle immediately and some may take longer. We are more than happy for you to come in and check that your child is happy throughout the day. If however after our best efforts you child does not settle, we will ask that you collect your child and we will try again in another session. This is for the happiness of your child and all the other children in the kids club.

Signing in your children
It is of utmost importance that you sign your child/children in and out of the Kids’ Clubs each day that they join us. We use forms for head counts and therefore they have a direct influence on the safety of the children. All of our Kids’ Clubs are completely flexible and you may sign your child in and out at any time during the Kids’ Clubs opening times. Please ensure you return on time to pick up your children at the end of the day.

Beach Team and Senior Gybers can sign themselves in and out of Kids Club with written approval from the parents. This has to be arranged at the beginning of the holiday with the Kids Club Coordinator. Children 8yrs and under must be signed in and out of video club. Parents must be made aware that staff members are only responsible for children who are signed into video club.

Illness
If your child becomes ill or has anything contagious they will not be admitted to the Kids’ Club for a minimum of 24 hours. This is to minimise the risk of infection. Exclusion tables as set out by the Department of Health will be displayed in all of our kids clubs as a guide for your reference.

    flying with kids
Pushchairs are not part of the luggage allowance. You can keep a collapsible pushchair/buggy with you up to the boarding gate and collect it from the normal luggage belt at the arrival airport.

Luggage – There is no luggage allowance for a baby without a seat. Bear in mind possible delays when packing your bags. Keep food, nappies etc., in your hand luggage. Especially on the return journey when airport facilities will not be as sophisticated as UK airports. Please note: there are service wash facilities at all resorts.

Seats – It is possible for parents to purchase a seat for a baby if they wish.

Pre-seating – It is recommended to pre-book seats if you can. We are happy to supply the airline's phone number so you can do this.

Kids meals - For children over 2 years or infants who have purchased a seat cost is £2 short haul / £10.00 long haul and must be pre-ordered with the airline. However parents may prefer to just take some items that they know their children like and have the normal adult meal delivered.
    Please note:
  • Infants without a flight seat CANNOT purchase a child's meal.
  • The hot meal is the same as the adult meal, however they get a lunch box with squeezy yogurt, carton of juice, toy etc.

Car seats – In practice these can be a real hassle on flights, but clients should take them if they are planning to hire a car whilst away.

In accordance with the latest Civil Aviation Authority recommendations, the airline will accept any make of car seat, providing it adheres to the following requirements: -
  • Must have metal or hard plastic frame (no polystyrene models, booster seats or carrycots are accepted), which must be securely attached to its under-structure and show no signs of damage.
  • No wider than 16.5 inches.
  • Must have a harness that secures the child’s lap, torso and shoulders and have a quick single release mechanism. Straps should be at least 1 inch/25mm wide.
  • Must be upright and forward facing.
  • The child must be aged between 6-36 months.
  • The child would require its own aircraft seat and would be charged at the appropriate child price from the holiday operator.

Children who need to use their own specialised car seat must contact the airline's Customer Support. The airline DO NOT SUPPLY CAR TYPE INFANT SEATS.

  • Bassinets (sky cots) are not available on any of this airline's flights.
  • There are nappy changing facilities on all aircraft.
  • Meals are not provided for infants but the cabin crew are happy to warm food and will serve the parents meal separately if required.
