Our winter adventure, 200km north of the Arctic Circle, is a favourite and includes cross-country skiing, husky, reindeer and snowmobile safaris and a small family-run accommodation with indoor swimming pool, sauna, restaurant and bar.
Ruka and Kuusamo are the ideal destinations for combining Nordic activities with downhill skiing and snowboarding. You can drive a snowmobile across frozen lakes and snowy plains during the day and then take to the ski slopes until 7.00pm almost every evening.
