Three day jungle magic Khao Sok tour
Spend your nights in either a jungle canopy treehouse at Art's Riverview Lodge at Khao Sok, or in a floating rafthouse at Chieow Laan Lake. See nature at her most stunning and try jungle trekking, elephant riding & more…
On arrival day at Arts, you'll be shown to your very own canopy treehouse, with magnificent views of the surrounding rainforest.
In the afternoon, you have the choice of either a guided canoe trip on the Klong Sok River or an exhilarating elephant trek which follows a gently flowing jungle stream. Early the next morning, you'll depart and transfer by vehicle to Chieow Laan Lake. Here you'll board a longtail boat for a trip you'll remember for years to come.
On arrival at the lake's floating rafthouses, you can take a quick dip in the emerald green waters of Chieow Laan lake before enjoying a scrumptious Thai lunch. Then it's off for a guided jungle walk or canoe trip - the choice is yours. Or maybe you'd prefer to just sit & soak up the atmosphere from the balcony of your very own floating rafthouse. In the evening you'll enjoy a selection of southern Thai specialty foods with just the stars & the sounds of nature as your backdrop. The next morning board your longtail boat or paddle a canoe in search of wildlife, before returning to the rafthouses for a delicious breakfast. You'll then have time to relax or do some more sightseeing before lunch, a final swim and a sad goodbye to your temporary oasis. This three day, two night package will leave you feeling relaxed and in complete harmony with nature.

Three day adventure Khao Sok tour
A short adventure that will give you the chance to enjoy some of the best that Khao Sok has to offer. On this three day, two night trip you'll be based at Arts Riverview Lodge in Khao Sok, without question one of the most beautiful and comfortable settings in all of Khao Sok. On arrival, you'll be shown to your private treehouse accommodation up in the jungle canopy. This is a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed.
In the afternoon, you have the choice of either an elephant jungle trek or a guided canoe trip down the Klong Sok river. Both options will give you a great opportunity to take in the stunning scenery of this remarkable National Park rainforest. Enjoy a delicious selection of southern Thai favourites for dinner, then relax and experience the magic of the rainforest at night. Leaving early the next morning, you'll transfer by vehicle for a full day trip on Chieow Laan Lake. Travelling by longtail boat to your lunch destination at the floating rafthouses, you'll have the chance to enjoy the stunning scenery which makes up Chieow Laan Lake.

Our Khao Sok tour goes into Khao Sok National Park and Chieow Laan Lake, giving our clients a chance to view first hand an ancient rainforest and some of the flora and fauna present within it.
We do not offer large group travel. This provides for more intimate and direct interaction between the traveller and the local guides and people in the communities we visit and avoids ‘over-running’ the destinations we visit. The accommodation we choose for our guests employ local people and our company utilises the services of operators who source their food and other equipment from local businesses. Our clients are encouraged to visit Khao Sok’s local Buddhist temple, where the current abbot is often available to chat with travellers about the local community, the role of the temple and monks as part of that community and to show people around the temple complex. If they wish, visitors can make a small donation to assist in the running of the temple. However, this is not expected and is up to the individual discretion of each person visiting. Our pre-trip document given to travellers outlines ways to reduce the negative impact on the environment, including reducing water usage and minimising damage to flora and fauna. Travellers have the opportunity to meet the park rangers who take care of the area and our guides inform travellers about the impact of poaching of wildlife and flora within the park, and how the park rangers attempt to minimise this type of activity. |
