Day 2:Hit the slopes! Your guide will help you get your ski gear and get you started with lessons. The resort has 71km of runs. Cerler is particularly good for beginners and intermediate skiers. For the more experienced, there is some great off-piste. (B,D)
Day 3:Ski, snowboard and relax. The resort is the highest in the Pyrenees and is known as the 'hidden valley' - it is harder to get to and therefore quieter. (B)
Day 4:Ski, snowboard and relax. For young children (3-6) there is the ‘snow garden’ where they can play supervised during the day. There is also a babysitting service in the village. (B)
Day 5:Try snowshoes today. In case weather is bad your guide can take you to alternative activities nearby, including snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, a climbing wall and spa. (B,D)
Day 6:Ski, snowboard and relax. Full day to ski with the usual ski lessons. The resort is every bit as good for snowboarding as it is for skiing. Your guide is qualified to teach both. (B)
Day 7:Ski, snowboard and relax. Enjoy your last day on the slopes before a final dinner in the village. (B,D)
Day 8:Travel home. Your guide will collect you and drive you back to the airport at Zaragoza today to catch your flights home. (B)

how this holiday makes a difference
The accommodation is a locally owned hotel and the restaurant is also locally owned providing maximum benefit to the local community. The resort is in the ‘hidden valley’ of the Pyrenees – there is no pass through to France which means that overseas visitors are a rarity.

This small resort with few visitors and there is minimal intrusion on the environment. A local guide accompanies you throughout your stay so you learn about the region during. We add a charge for carbon offset to all our holidays.

Tourism can be good and bad for destinations & local people.

We carefully screen every holiday against our criteria for responsible travel.

'Look behind the brochure' to find how each holiday makes a difference (see left).

We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've led the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays.

We invite every traveller to write a review about their experiences and responsible tourism.

This valuable feedback is sent to the people who run the holidays. We keep a very close eye on it and take off holidays that don't live up to our standards.
