how this holiday makes a difference
|
You may wonder how a honeymoon in Egypt can make a difference and involve elements of responsible travel, well believe me, this honeymoon can. By booking this trip you automatically support a responsible tour operator who is involved in many projects in Egypt. These include cleaning the banks of the Nile, funding an exhibition about Qurna Heritage, and supporting a children’s orphanage. Honeymooners have the chance to visit the exhibition and orphanage during your stay in Luxor. We employ local staff throughout Egypt and ensure that your honeymoon supports as may individuals as possible, from calesh drivers and felucca crew to a different Egyptologist at each amazing major site you’ll visit. An unforgettable honeymoon for an unforgettable occasion.

Tourism can be good and bad for destinations & local people. We carefully screen every holiday against our criteria for responsible travel. 'Look behind the brochure' to find how each holiday makes a difference (see left). We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've led the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays. We invite every traveller to write a review about their experiences and responsible tourism. This valuable feedback is sent to the people who run the holidays. We keep a very close eye on it and take off holidays that don't live up to our standards. |
