Your pousada in Bahia has just 10 rooms, its small size meaning that it provides a much more personal experience whilst minimizing its impact on the local environment. All produce is locally sourced where possible, helping to sustain the local rural and fishing community and for the staff (who all live locally) it provides a valuable income stream and a new set of skills.
 In Rio your hotel has just 7 rooms, ensuring minimal impact on the environment and a more personal involvement with the locally sourced staff. Your guide Leonardo, will help you understand the city’s vibrant culture and heritage from a local point of view. Part of the cost of your holiday goes towards sponsorship of a music workshop in the favela and the planting of 20 hard wood trees in the Mata Atlantica, under the guidance of R.E.G.U.A. (Reserva Ecologica de Guapi Assu) who protect one of the last stands of primary tropical rainforest left in the severely depleted Atlantic Rainforest) in Brazil. |
