Our family activity weeks are based in and around the Ardéche national park. We offer you the very best of personal service in order to tailor the perfect week for you.
We provide an action packed week of canoeing, horse riding, caves, ropes courses, walking, cycling and much more. Each day you have the option of planned activities, walks or to relax and spend some time as a family.
Accommodation ranges from self catered camping to our gites or half board hotel, according to your needs. Our families weeks are all about providing a flexible, personal service that will allow you to get the very most out of your time in the unforgettable Ardéche.

| Day 1: | Arrival day; travel and transfer to your accommodation. Information and orientation. |
| Day 2: | Viewpoint walk over the famous Pont d’Arc followed by and afternoon of canoeing. |
| Day 3: | Treetop ropes course. Breathtaking rope bridges and zip wires high in the forest canopy. |
| Day 4: | Time for a change; horse riding AM, beach/walking PM. |
| Day 5: | Sightseeing – Avignon, Nimes, Pont du Gard, museums, monuments, vineyards, cave paintings... |
| Day 6: | Free day. Choose from a huge range of activities, join us for walks or hit the beach as a family. |
| Day 7: | Market morning and caves afternoon. Sample the local produce and then head underground! |
| Day 8: | Departure day. Travel and transfers - Goodbye! |
family activity centre holiday
For many families, flexibility is the key on a holiday and we have used our operational experience to offer just that. Activity centres have one base from which we offer a range of exciting, fun and educational activities that may appeal to all the family or just some. You can choose how many you do and who in the family does them. You will not be forced into a group (although there are normally other families around) and if you want free time to explore as a family our staff are there to advise what there is to see. Each activity has a stated minimum age and children must be accompanied by at least 1 parent while undertaking an activity.how this holiday makes a difference

We aim to use 100% locally owned and run businesses for all of our external requirements. These include all of our activity suppliers for canoe trips, bike hire, horse riding etc, our accommodations and the places that we stop for meals and shopping. All of these businesses are based in the nearby towns of Vallon and Barjac or in our own village of Vagnas.
We do this not only because it is good for the region economically but because we feel that it will give the local population a chance to represent itself to its visitors, adding to the cultural feel of the holiday. The only thing that we intend to source from the UK is our customers. We will do our utmost to ensure that our guests are respectful of the physical environment and will provide them with appropriate means to minimise their impact. We will achieve this as our trained staff will accompany guests on almost all activities and excursions. By planning our routes, sticking to established trails and taking all of our waste away with us we can ensure that the impact of our presence is nominal. We encourage and facilitate the recycling of paper, glass and plastics. We consider it important to observe and interact with the local people, rather than impose ourselves upon them. We like to visit local projects (cave painting restoration, gorge clean-ups, the Ardeche National Park etc) and to offer our support where appropriate. |
Tourism can be good and bad for destinations & local people. We carefully screen every holiday against our criteria for responsible travel. We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've lead the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays. We invite every traveller to write a review about their experiences and responsible tourism. This valuable feedback is sent to the people who run the holidays. We keep a very close eye on it and take off holidays that don't live up to our standards. |
