the amazing things you'll be doing
Harmony and Serenity: This region has a rich culture of frontier and virgin nature, whose forests never fail to move your soul. You will feel an overwhelming infinity with the land of superb magnetic and melancholic beauty. Kilometres of the now neglected land, once densely populated villages, create a stunningly quiet space, ideal for horse-riders. The farm is situated on a vast area surrounded by the woods. Mallards and beavers roam freely throughout the grounds of the property. The host is a qualified horse riding coach and will be happy to instruct and supervise you while guiding you through his beloved place in the nearby mountains.

Accommodation: We invite you to a house which has one-, two-, three- and four-bedrooms with bathrooms. The owner has designed all the furniture in the house himself. The landlady will take care of you when you are hungry and will create a homely and warm atmosphere. The best place to relax is by the fireplace in the living room.

Activities include horse riding, birdwatching, watching wild animals, bonfire, britzka rides, angling, milking goats, roasting pig or boar, traditional Polish cuisine workshops, pickle making, making food preserves course, picking mushrooms, sleeping on hay in a barn, pottery, icon painting, wood carving, weaving, biking, discovery trips with a metal detector.

travelling with a local operator
This holiday is operated by a company based in the holiday destination and they will be able to provide expert local knowledge. They will be able to tailor make your holiday to suit your requirements not only concerning the dates of travel but also typically the standard of accommodation, and thus price. It is rare for local operators to be able to help with the booking of your flights.
how this holiday makes a difference
We operate in a way that increases the positive impacts and decreases the negative ones on the local community and the environment. We support the local community economically by bringing our groups to rural areas of Poland. These areas of South-East Poland are some of the poorest. We employ local people directly wherever possible and most of our food is bought locally.

The house is placed near Bieszczady National Park and run by Joanna and Ryszard. They came to Bieszczady Region a few years ago from big cities. Ryszard is a qualified horse riding coach and will be happy to instruct and supervise you while guiding you through his beloved place in the nearby mountains.

Guests are encouraged to behave in an environmentally responsible manner. We encouraging our customers to purchase locally manufactured products (eg organic food products, sculptures, bas-reliefs, icons, paintings or musical instruments) rather than imported alternatives, and buy gifts and crafts from local shops.

Tourism can be good and bad for destinations & local people.

We carefully screen every holiday against our criteria for responsible travel.

'Look behind the brochure' to find how each holiday makes a difference (see left).

We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've lead the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays.

We invite every traveller to write a review about their experiences and responsible tourism.

This valuable feedback is sent to the people who run the holidays. We keep a very close eye on it and take off holidays that don't live up to our standards.
