the amazing things you'll be doing
Blossoming meadows, wild animals, murmuring streams and divine landscapes boil down to the uniqueness of the place. The place to which you are invited suits especially those who are in need of a long awaited break from turmoil and the routine of work.
If you are looking for an off-the-beaten track location and longing for winding down, this is a perfect place for you. You can spend your time trekking, biking, horse riding and try your artistic strengths at a potter’s wheel. The inn nearby will provide a feast of delicious food for your palate and you will find both local melodies and works of regional art to respond to the needs of your soul.
Accommodation: The property has two-, three-, four- and five-bed rooms, each supplied with a bathroom overlooking the woods. The walls of the rooms are decorated with typical motifs of the region. There is a spacious living room, a fireplace and a conservatory for less shiny days. There is a refurbished stone basement with another fire place. Here you can have a supper by candles for two or use it as a home cinema room to watch movies with your family. The owners are vegetarians, declared foes of fast-food and are only too happy to prepare delicious meals for you.
Activities include trekking, biking, picking mushrooms, painting, pottery, horse riding, watching wild birds and other animals, trips to an open air museum and local attractions.

day-by-day itinerary
| Sample itinerary: | |
| Day 1: | Arrival at Rzeszow Airport. Transfer to your accommodation. |
| Day 2: | Orientation. Visiting the area. |
| Day 3: | A walk in the woods (ancient forest of beech and fir trees). During the walk you will try to track down some does, bucks and boars to discover that it requires the skills we had in the old days. You will take back home a special souvenir, a CD with forest bird singing recorded during the walk. |
| Day 4: | Trekking along one of the numerous mountain trails. |
| Day 5: | Narrow-gauge train ride with an unexpected adventure ‘a robbery’. The gang of ruffians attacks, robs and intimidates your party …unfortunately there are no witnesses to testify for you… eventually you and the hostage takers land in a nearby inn sharing many rounds of drinks. We recommend ending this few-kilometre trail in a fish hatchery, surround by picturesque scenery, where you can have delicious, freshly caught trout. |
| Day 6: | Party in an inn with a glass of Polish speciality honey based hot alcoholic drink. |
| Day 7: | Transfer to Rzeszow Airport. Departure. |
travelling with a local operator
This holiday is operated by a company based in the holiday destination and they will be able to provide expert local knowledge. It is rare for local operators to be able to help with the booking of your flights.how this holiday makes a difference
|
We operate in a way that increases the positive impacts and decreases the negative ones on the local community and the environment. We support the local community economically by bringing our groups to rural areas of Poland. These areas of South-East Poland are some of the poorest.
The house is placed near Bieszczady National Park and run by Kasia and Andrzej. A few years ago fire took their first house. They decided not to give up. They built second house with friends’ help. Guests are encouraged to behave in an environmentally responsible manner. We encouraging our customers to purchase locally manufactured products (eg organic food products, sculptures, bas-reliefs, icons, paintings or musical instruments) rather than imported alternatives, and buy gifts and crafts from local shops and markets. The guests have the opportunity to meet the park ranger who takes care of the area. Our guide informs travellers about the impact of poaching of wildlife and flora within the park, and how the park rangers attempt to minimise this. |
Tourism can be good and bad for destinations & local people. We carefully screen every holiday against our criteria for responsible travel. 'Look behind the brochure' to find how each holiday makes a difference (see left). We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've led the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays. We invite every traveller to write a review about their experiences and responsible tourism. This valuable feedback is sent to the people who run the holidays. We keep a very close eye on it and take off holidays that don't live up to our standards. |
