When you arrive in Patagonia, your driver will collect your bags and take you to the marina where you’ll board the luxury motor yacht.
The yacht will be your home for the next few days whilst you explore one of the world’s only advancing glaciers in the breath taking Los Glaciares National Park. There are 13 glaciers in the National Park, the largest and most spectacular of which is the 200 foot high, 2½ mile wide Perito Moreno glacier. As well as this, you will explore the more remote & inaccessible Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers. You’ll experience chunks of ice the size houses breaking off and tumbling into the lake as your 14 berth, luxury yacht takes you on a journey through this remote and beautiful, natural wonder. Your stay on the boat is all inclusive.

The village has become known for its chic, laid back cool and as a favourite destination for the rich & famous. This is the hotspot in South America where fashion icons and Hollywood stars mix with the unphased locals. The result is a unique mixture of high quality restaurants and relaxed, rustic bars. Your hotel, one of only two in the village is located right on the beach and has a great restaurant, fantastic pool and excellent service. A week here is the perfect way to round off this fantastic trip.

This not only benefits the surrounding community and boosts the local economy, it also ensures that our clients have a more authentic experience during their trip. The Los Glaciares National Park in Patagonia was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1981 and by visiting it our clients are directly contributing to the upkeep and preservation of this unique area. As with all our holidays, our sustainable tourism policy means that our tours are always conducted in small groups ensuring we have a minimal impact on the environment.
We work closely with our Argentine partners to ensure that our tours are professionally run and operated within the park’s ecological guidelines. All waste created during the cruise is removed from the national park and recycled wherever possible. Whilst in Uruguay our clients stay in one of just two hotels in a tiny fishing village and as such provide vital income for the local economy. The inhabitants of the community are passionate about preserving this incredibly special place and we encourage all our clients to be respectful of the local environment during their stay. £20 from every holiday we sell goes to support a project run by Regua aimed at protecting and replanting the Atlantic rain forest in Rio state, and a Rio based NGO which provides educational courses for the community of Vidigal – one of the city’s favelas. |
