best time to go
Our adventure events run on a year round basis, we'll keep you toasty warm whatever the weather! Winter and Spring often bring the waves, which of course are super fun for coasteering adventures, and essential for surfing sessions. As the seasons change so do the visitors to our rocky shores; Autumn sees a plethora of Atlantic grey seals, whilst in the Spring time our woodland is carpeted with a swathe of bluebells. Whatever the time of year, a superb adventure and opportunity to experience wild Pembrokeshire is assured. day-by-day itinerary

how this holiday makes a difference
|
Since much of the time during our adventure days will be spend at, on or in the water an awareness of the flora and fauna of our natural environment is very much intrinsic to our activities. On these adventure days you'll get to experience fun and excitement, but you'll also be encouraged to reflect upon the nature of our relationship with the environment. We always aim to have a positive impact on the venues we utilize, be that picking up marine flotsam and jetsam, through to monitoring local wildlife sightings for our local National Park authorities.
To try to maximize the 'low impact' nature of our trips we endeavor to use adventure venues close to our base – we accept that we often have to travel short distances in our bus – and in view of this we opt to utilize bio diesel, in the form of recycled chip oil! We are a founder member of the Pembrokeshire Outdoor Charter group, and by following the Pembrokeshire Marine Code we ensure that your adventure activities do not damage the environment, or disturb the wildlife. Our adventure guides will explain the concept of the code at the start of your adventures, and the guidelines will be followed throughout. All of our adventure guides live locally, and will be able to share their extensive knowledge or the flora and fauna of the coastline with you, and will be able to offer you the chance to get a real feel for this beautiful stretch of coastline. |
Tourism can be good and bad for destinations & local people. We carefully screen every holiday against our criteria for responsible travel. 'Look behind the brochure' to find how each holiday makes a difference (see left). We don't claim to be perfect - there is no global accreditation - but we've led the way since 2001 and screened 1000's of holidays. We invite every traveller to write a review about their experiences and responsible tourism. This valuable feedback is sent to the people who run the holidays. We keep a very close eye on it and take off holidays that don't live up to our standards. |
