the amazing things you'll be doing
If you have always dreamt of visiting the ancient ruins of Angkor Wat, Cambodia, and are a fitness enthusiast to boot, this 5 day package is for you!

Not only will you get to compete in a half marathon with a backdrop that is so breathtaking it will help to divert your attention away from any tiredness, but you will be raising money for a good cause. This half marathon (and shorter fun run) is held every December, and has the extra special element of local land mine victims also competing alongside you – an amazing inspiration and one that you will never forget. The package also includes the opportunity to explore the Angkor Complex in the days leading up to the race with a 10km run and cycling, as a warm up to the big day.

End your achievement with a sports massage and a relaxing boat cruise on Tonle Sap lake with champagne.
day-by-day itinerary
Day 1:Arrive Siem Reap: Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Free time to freshen up before being transferred to the temple complex for your discovery of Angkor Thom Ancient City. The visit includes the Bayon and Ta Prohm Temples. The evening is free at leisure.
Day 2:Siem Reap – running preparation (10 km) (B): Wake up early this morning and witness the sunrise at Angkor Wat Temple. This majestic experience will give you strength for a 10 km run in the complex: you will pass by Prasat Kravan, Sra Srang, Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, Takeo, Bayon and end up at Angkor Wat where you will enjoy a well merited breakfast. Transfer back to your hotel and time to relax and freshen up. This afternoon, we will return to the temple complex to enjoy a cultural visit of Angkor Wat. The evening is free at leisure.
Day 3:Siem Reap – cycling to Kbal Spean (49 km) (BL): We will depart early this morning and cycle to Banteay Srei, located at about 37 km from Siem Reap. This delightful small temple includes some of the most exquisite stone carvings you will see and is wonderfully well preserved. You cycle through small villages and vivid green rice paddies to reach the site. Children will run out of their houses to greet you along the way and there is so much to see - water buffalos happily wallowing in big muddy ponds, cows, pigs, chickens and ducks! After the visit of Banteay Srei, we will cycle further to Kbal Spean (12 km), enjoy a short trekking in the forest (about 30 minutes) which will lead us to beautiful carvings of Buddha and well preserved lingas spread in the river. We will then be driven back to Siem Reap. The evening is free at leisure. (Picnic lunch)
Day 4:Angkor Wat International Half Marathon (Brunch): Early morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to the temple complex. The race will start at around 6 AM (please refer to the schedule below). Upon completion, you will be transferred back to your hotel for freshen up and brunch. Free time until your transfer to a local spa where you will enjoy a relaxing “sports massage”. Your muscles will be relieved after being tightened by regular exercise. The treatment will start with a warm-up massage, before gradually going to deeper layers of muscle. After getting back to reality, you will be transferred to the Tonle Sap Lake. Board a local boat and enjoy a unique sunset with Champagne, as congratulation of your efforts of the last days!
Day 5:Depart Siem Reap (B): Free time at leisure until your transfer to the airport (or we can arrange further travel arrangements).

B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner
