There is a wide variety of accommodation available in the Region of Valencia, from top class, luxurious hotels to self catering flats in the major cities and resorts of the coast. Inland, Valencia has a broad palette of excellent and comfortable accommodation, with many casas rurales – restored country houses – often set in their own grounds, with excellent facilities including swimming pools and internet access. Some of these will be self catering, whilst others offer full board if required.
In country villages of the rural inland areas small houses can be rented as a base for off-the-beaten track activity holidays, which range from cycling to walking or climbing.
This type of accommodation is usually self catering, but arrangements can be made with local cafes and restaurants which offer excellent locally sourced cuisine at very reasonable prices.
