Our Marlborough Sounds accommodation is one of several small enterprises that contribute both to the social fabric of our remote community, and to its economic viability. We live in a special wilderness area, which we are constantly mindful of in the way we run our business and the way we practice sustainability and protection of this precious resource. We use organic principles in our garden, and are actively ensuring the regeneration of indigenous bush on our 2 and ½ hectare property.
Again our small community's economic viability depends on small businesses such as ours to bring people and money into the community. We also support one another as our businesses overlap each other all offering something a little different to visitors.
We also use other services in the wider community that contribute further to our community's economic viability. Every visitor goes away with an appreciation and understanding of a special corner of New Zealand landscape and marine environment, its geography and history, and its flora and fauna.
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
