The guesthouse aims to offer tranquil, personalised services which explore the cultural and natural riches of the region. There are a variety of activities on offer which combine action and adventure in this beautiful environment. Activities are designed to explore the: culture; religion; architecture; folklore and gastronomy of the region. Visits to churches, monasteries, bridges and watermills allow visitors to recognise the special identity of the region and support this unique destination.
The hotel is a small-scale building in complete harmony with the environment and local architecture. During the restoration of the old house traditional techniques and materials were used.
This included re-using old stones for the walls, grey stone tiles for the roofs and timber from the nearby forest for the floors and ceilings.
Through working in partnership with environmental organisations like W.W.F. the guesthouse offers its clients information and advice about the natural and man-made environment in order to allow them to contribute towrds its protection.
We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
