We have planted many different varieties of plants around the house and on the Lochs. There is a RSPB Loch only 4 miles from the house (Loch Ruthven). We endeavour to support local business such as our local wood turner whose crafts we have in the house. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products and 80% of light bulbs in the house are energy saving.
Both of our cars have been converted to LPG and when we built the house five years ago we used wood from a sustainable source and insulated the house above required standards.
