Swimming with a turtle...5* top notch, cannot rate it highly enough.

...the best moment would be when we were asked to light the fire when we had the BBQ dinner on the beach one night.

The holiday was far better than I had thought possible. There were 12 of us in all, and we are all different people as a result of spending time at the resort. This was in part due to the environment, in part because of the way the retreat has been developed, and in part due to the wonderful team of people who looked after us. I need more stars than those below to rate this holiday.

The holiday was everything we hoped it would be - pristine natural environment, fantastic tropical sea, rustic barefoot comfort, extraordinarily peaceful, achingly romantic and at the same time a brilliant adventure! Can't wait to go back.

The location - idyllic and beautiful, plus the amazing snorkelling, including swimming with turtles, stingrays and reef-sharks, was just outstanding....

Superb: I haven't felt as relaxed for a very long time. It made for a wonderful honeymoon destination. The only disappointment was the food at dinner wasn't as good as breakfast and lunch.

Snorkelling, diving, swimming with turtles or doing absolutely nothing I can't think of a better place to do it.

Our entire stay was memorable in so many ways... arrival in, essentially, paradise; wonderful food; perfect accommodation with the sea lapping right outside; the best verandah view you could imagine; friendly but efficient organisation; perfect climate and complete serenity...

I would say the best part of the honeymoon for me was the amount of wildlife you get to see, you don’t even have to try too hard either. If it's not monkeys or monitor lizards a few feet away it's sting rays and small Sharks just of the jetty.

We really enjoyed the snorkelling and it was amazing to get to swim with a turtle!
But to be honest everyday we sat down at dinner over looking the beach and the ocean and said to each other 'that was a good day!'

The snorkelling was great with snorkelling at the resort and the option to go on snorkelling trips. Really relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Was able to have a yoga class and a massage in a great setting

The location of the resort is very remarkable, the structure is little and well enclosed in the nature.

This is not just a resort but a rare experience of nature at its best and likeminded people to share it with that you will cherish for many years to come.

The BBQ evening was outstanding - the food was amazing and the staff had gone to so much trouble to make the evening special. The bonfire on the beach, the limbo competition and the singing around the fire all added to the experience.

What we enjoyed most was the peace and quiet, it was a truly idyllic place to spend a honeymoon, made even better (if that’s possible) by the staff, who couldn't do enough for us and became friends.

The activities are brilliant - the trips to the waterfalls and snorkelling are a real memory with amazing photos to match. Added events such as the barbecue and fire on the beach were really special.

Waking up every morning, opening the shutters and watching the monkeys go on their daily trip past our jungle house was the most memorable. Swimming with my niece and son in the sea late afternoon.

The venue was excellent, room wonderful, small resort with plenty of space. In April the water temp was 30C, abundant sealife in the resort bay. Diving available just a short hop away.

This is definitely the place to go if you just want chill time. You have your own beach and it’s just peaceful. You can only get there by boat so it's away from all motors and noise.

We were lucky to arrive at the resort at high tide which meant our 1st view of the resort was when it was at it's best - and it's best is just stunning. A beautiful part of the world, the resort is lovely and the hosts looked after us well.

Don't count on doing too much: the place is extremely well suited for a relaxing holiday. Snorkling, reading, an occasional boat trip, and a small hike to a local waterfall, that's about where you get up to.

The entire holiday was wonderful and it's hard to specify the best part when the whole stay was so magical. However, one of the most memorable experiences must have been the round the island trip together with the other guests and staff. Snorkelling was never my thing before Tioman but this time round it was hard to keep me out of the water.

It was great to be in nature and to listen only to the sounds of the birds, the waves and the wind. It was also great to be served by people who do so with a lot of heart and simplicity as part of life and co-existence rather than a profession.
