We are one of the few hotels in the Bahamas that has a formal Environmental Management System in place. We recycle our wine bottles by making cocktail glasses, and recycle our other bottles and cans via a "Cans for Kids" recycling program in Nassau. We collect composte which is used to beautify our grounds and send our ink jet cartridges to Florida for recycling. We are always looking for ways to help save this beautiful island.
We support ANCAT (The Andros Conservancy and Trust) which is responsible for establishing the largest national park in the Bahamas, part of which is right off the coast line of the Lodge. The Andros Park is both marine and terrestrial preserving our reef system, mangrove areas, and land crab breeding grounds. Several staff members of are on the board of ANCAT and we do their website free of charge. We have always been active in the community.
We are active supporters of Junior Achievement, an organization to educate and inspire youths showing how free enterprise, business and economics can improve the quality of their lives.

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
