How Cirali beach accommodation, Turkey makes a difference

Cirali beach is a popular nesting site for the endangered loggerhead sea turtle, known locally as Caretta Caretta. Protecting them may also save the area from major development. We donate £5 of your booking fee to the Ulupinar Conservation Coop who protect the turtles and monitor their activity. Thanks to these donations, we soon hope to equip the Coop with infrared video cameras and GPS systems to help them better document their valuable work.

On the beach patio all lights are covered and dimmed and there are no radios or TVs to disturb egg-laying turtles.

Owner Ahmet is committed to conservation and protecting the local environment, he is a founding member of 'Friends of Cirali' an organisation striving to steer Cirali on the path of sustainability. His hotel maintains high standards of responsibility with regards to its operation. The cottages have been constructed so as to work in harmony with their surroundings. They are 70% constructed from recycled wooden barns.

Food produce is sourced from local farms, many of them certified organic. Your stay here directly benefits the local farming community too! Local people are employed full time by the hotel for operational tasks and airport transfers.
