Profits (50%) are invested in community-based surveillance of the natural area. 50% is invested in community development projects. We have invested in local surveillance systems and decrease in poaching due to ecotourism involvement.
We also support the conservation of river turtles, community protection of natural areas, construction of community centers, purchase of VHS radio communication systems, purchase of community transport, etc.
We have village visits that are guided by local people, where we show local customs, way of life, etc. We provide also written information on rules. Guides receive yearly training on first aid, conduction of visitors, interpretation of nature, basic ornithology, etc.
