We aim to develop and promote a wholesome and sustainable ecotourism model. We purchase supplies from the local community and encourage clients to buy locally made handicrafts. We contribute a proportion of net profits to community conservation and development funds, and make a direct financial donation to the communities being visited.
We encourage rational and responsible natural resource use through training on environmental protection, ecology, cooperation and heritage sites to local members of rural communities. We support efforts to clean up waste and polluted areas. Annually, we provides ecological action in Son-Kul (mountainous lake) and every community provides cleaning up action in their territory.
We use environmentally-friendly vehicles and keep the number of travellers compatible with the fragility of visited environments. We work with protected area managers to implement impact monitoring plans.
Tour operators are local community members and products are offered by local artisans. Some communities are involved with schools, bridge building, organizing an internet-center and acts of charity. Annual festivals provide for communities, villagers and tourists.
We choose accommodation compatible with local traditions and that minimize negative environmental impact. Choose lodgings that have effective waste treatment systems, recycles and disposes of non-recyclable garbage appropriately. Where possible, choose accommodation owned, built, and staffed by local people. We coordinate with the communities that you will visit so that your visit is welcome and expected. We respect the cultural heritage and customs of the people we visit by giving all visitors a thorough cultural briefing before visiting local communities.
