Where possible we use local services as much as possible and encourage guests to buy local products as well. At our Ecuador cloud forest ecolodge we use and offer local food products in our accommodation. We provide employment of local population and employ local guides. We respect the typical regional architectural style and this is reflected in our building. We respect the local cultural traditions and encourage our guest to celebrate and enjoy the local traditions. Regional dishes prepared in the lodge and we offer discounts for Ecuadorians and children.
We use environmentally friendly building materials at our Ecuador cloud forest ecolodge and have energy efficient and water efficient methods in place. We also have waste prevention measures. We garden with traditional and native species to maintain the local environment. We offer guiding services with attention to sustainability aspects and offer information on sustainability in promotion material. We also have environmental, nature, and local cultural education activities for visitors and environmental seminars for Ecuadorian schools.
