Environment
1 - Using of candels for lightening :
Tangaro has never been electrified, the lightening has always been with candels, what is luck in convienience add to the charm! However, you can charge your devices with clean energy!
2 - Producing electricity with solar energy : Being in a city where sun and wind are the habits all year long, the electricity provided in Tangaro is produced by solar pannels and windmill.
3 - Using fresh seasonal products in our meals : We rarely stock marchandise for cooking, our cuisine is mainly minute made, which push us to purchase what is availbale in the market the day and the season itself.
4-Lending bikes to our guest to go down town : for our guest, we recommand them to use our bikes to go downtown, wich is ofcourrse not polluting and offer a nice promenade from Tangaro to the city crossing the golf.
5- Using wood for further construction in the garden : everything we build new, we use natural wood for it.
6 - Planting more in the garden : Our aim is to become little by little, a garden with hotel and not the opposite, we keep planting new kind of plants and give also the wildnature the freedom to express itself.
7- Composting in the garden : we compost all our leaves and other yard waste which make it easier for our gardener to work and plant.
8 - Trash Separation : We separate trash to make it easier for recycling, we might be the only hotel in the area to sort the rubbish.
9 - Used Furniture and local handcraft for decoration : Further than using local elements of handcraft in our decoration, we also buy used furniture and totally recycle it to use in our new spaces, wich doesn't quit charm and design.
Community
1 - Dealing with small farmers and fisherman : all our the ingredients of our cooking are purchased from local people.
2 - Emloying local people : we recruit our staff mainly from local village
3 - Helping local associations : we support several voluntaring local associations in there actions, among them, charity to homeless kids and another one to homeless old persons.
4- We strongly cooperate with a local organization for helping street animals.
