We are committed to raising respect for the environment in our guests. We compost everything we can, recycle most of the rest, and buy locally farmed produce when at all possible. We have two compost toilets on site and are planning a straw-bale insulated yoga hall in the near future. The meals we provide for guests are largely organic and home-cooked with love. We encourage simplicity and creativity over electronic gadgetry and mindless passivity.
All regular staff who do not live on-site come in from the local village (cleaner, gardener, occasional extra cooks). On courses which are so heavily subscribed that we cannot accommodate everyone on site, guests take rooms in the local hotels and gîtes. As many of our cooking ingredients as possible are bought locally. In summer, we offer yoga and dance classes which are extended to local people.
We have wood burning stoves in both our gîtes, fuelled with wood cut from our own land. We educate our guests to be responsible with their use of electricity and water. All kitchen waste is either fed to our chickens or composted. We use eggs from our own organically-fed hens and as many organic ingredients as possible in guests’ meals. We recycle glass, tins, plastics, paper, cardboard etc. We have used natural lime render and local wood in our renovations and have solar lamps in our grounds. Our two yurts have compost toilets. We plan to build a straw-bale insulated yoga hall in the near future.

We invite every traveller who books a holiday via us to send in a review. Because we don't run the holidays they're completely independent and unedited... remember to read between the lines though, as two people on the same holiday can have different views!
