Environment
Raingsey is a small little place, where we want to use stone and bamboo as the subject of the place. This little cottage is 90% covered with greenery.
All our products used in our kitchen are local from Kep market and the white horse market. With all the plants and flowers we have we keep the rain water and the waste to give to our plants daily. As for our guest we always ask them if they need to get the sheets changed everyday to get the possibility to save the water and the environment.
With our nice staff you can ask to go see the National Park by renting a bicycle, or see Kep Province by walking by the ocean. The best way to do the National Park is leaving very early to catch the morning animals, butterfly, monkeys. We always ask our guests to support the National Park by donating at the entrance and to support a clean environment by not discarding garbage.
Community
Kep is a very small province, you can just lay down to your balcony or do some nice activity surrounding the local area and with the local people. Do a nice tour with a tuk tuk to the pepper plantation, see and buy the black pepper, which is the main product, and support the local workers. Have a look into the cave Kampong Track as well.
You can also for the end of the day have a nice sunset at the sea, eat at the crab market and try the steamed crab. For a nice day, go in the boat and meet those villagers in the rabbit island for their nice local foods. Swim and have fun in the crystal beach.
With only a few staff in the cottage, you will be able to ask them personally the tourist area. We try to let tourists to go see the fishing place which is around 20minutes from the rabbit island.
