The entire experience was an absolute blast. The kindness of the staff - the peaceful location - the delicious food - the interesting history of the place- the wonderful antique furniture - the eccentric fellow travellers.... If you are after a different kind of holiday where you can both relax and have a few adventures this is it.

Wonderful. Couldn't ask for more. The hosts, Derek and Ilaria, were lovely people who could not have done more to assist us and make our stay special. Their speaking three languages was very helpful and our eldest even learnt a couple of words of Spanish and Italian. (more)It was amazing. Really the best one I've ever had. Our hosts Simon and Fiona advised us as amateur birdwatchers to visit a local site. The visit proved successful when we saw a golden eagle - a first for us, and also a herd of wild deer. (more)
The location itself was very quiet and peaceful, but only a short journey to the facilities of the nearest town. It was amusing to be greeted by the free range chickens each time we went out. (more)
Absolutely fantastic. We would highly recommend a visit and would love to go back there ourselves....From start to last, the standards were exemplary. Excellent. Having 5 separate en suite bathrooms is so beneficial and comfortable. We felt very well looked after and consider that Anna went above and beyond the call of duty to give us as much support and information as possible. (more)Excellent. There is something quite magical about the site. Not sure if it is the caravans, the scenery, or Perry and Collene.
