The most memorable part of our trip was most likely the scenery we loved the mountains and woodlands. The next was the food as Nick is no doubt an excellent chef and Dasha a specialist with deserts.
(more)The first sight of the view from the balcony was amazing - and it just carried on being great. Walking up the peak was also great - we saw ibex! Fabulous! Relaxing, interesting and inspiring. We want to come back and will recommend it to everyone we know! (more)

Situated on the southern slopes of Mt Batakaru in remotest Bali, this place is a pocket of paradise, far removed from the ravages of the 21st century. Having spent a week there I did not want to leave.

(more)There were lots of memorable moments:- from lovely walks, beautiful surroundings of the hotel, really lovely owners, Ilaria and Derek, who couldn't have been more helpful, beautiful starry night sky and lots of different types of wild birds to be seen nearby.

(more)We could not have hoped for a better holiday. This was our first time in Sardinia, our first farm holiday, away from the beaten tracks. We spent a week and rested so much that we feel as if we've been away for months. (more)Matt and Caroline made arrangements for us to ride, snowshoe and ski. We had never skied before and had thought that we were too old to try. However we went and took a couple of lessons and we loved it. (more)The entire experience was an absolute blast. The yurt and it's garden area are completely private and self contained but near the owners home if you need anything. (more)Imlil was absolutely breathtaking, everywhere you looked was stunning, the accommodation, scenery, mountains, people were all incredible. We arrived on a very cold afternoon, by evening snow was falling and by morning there was 4 inches of snow! (more)A particular highlight was the welcome we received from Carrie and Colin. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we could possibly want, including maps, guide books and a lift to and from Fowey in the evening.

The bedroom we chose was magic and I'll never forget going down the escarpment garden to the cliff walk at the bottom - that was brilliant.
