The view from the house was outstanding, seeing it every day was even better. It must have been the best view from a holiday cottage I have ever seen! I will always remember it.

If you are looking for a bit of quiet, secluded Filipino life then this is the place. The locals were all very friendly, the beach was beautiful and undeveloped. (more)

Searching for whales, being greeted by dolphins, snorkelling above seahorses leave a warm fuzzy feeling inside. I feel truly privileged to have been a part of the ecolodge and Dominican way of life, even if it was just for 2 weeks. (more)

All of it was memorable starting with driving up to the beautiful location, being welcomed by host Jos, who was incredibly kind and helpful, relaxing in the palms overlooking the water, and taking the interesting side trips that Jos set up for me.

Most memorable was just sitting on the balcony in the sunshine with a coffee and a book and looking across the Coral Sea...and waking up to the sounds of the forest...and seeing several cassowary... and eating in the beautiful restaurant. The most memorable part of my holiday was being in such a calm, peaceful and gentle environment and experiencing the culture of a country that was completely different to that in the UK. Just as memorable was the kind and giving nature of the family who accommodated me. (more)The campfires on the beach which were lit when anyone was leaving after a week's stay.
