There were lots of memorable moments:- from lovely walks, beautiful surroundings of the hotel, really lovely owners, Ilaria and Derek, who couldn't have been more helpful, beautiful starry night sky and lots of different types of wild birds to be seen nearby.

We could not have hoped for a better holiday. This was our first time in Sardinia, our first farm holiday, away from the beaten tracks. We spent a week and rested so much that we feel as if we've been away for months.

Perfect - the best week's holiday we've ever had. The accommodation was very comfortable, the surroundings were idyllic, and the views breathtaking. Very peaceful and relaxing, with lovely outside eating areas, a hammock and a pool.

Excellent - one of the best self-catering places we've stayed at. Would be very happy to go back there.

Excellent. Having 5 separate en suite bathrooms is so beneficial and comfortable. We felt very well looked after and consider that Anna went above and beyond the call of duty to give us as much support and information as possible.

The surfing lesson was wonderful, the spa treatments were fantastic, relaxing and rejuvenating, the general ambience of the hotel was wonderful and the staff could not do enough to help you or make your stay relaxing and fantastic!

I think the scenery on the Brittany coast was the most memorable part, and a wonderful meal we had on our last day, plus some great visits to local artisan producers.

Travelling in a dug out canoe on the river between The Gambia and Senegal amongst the mangroves and seeing so much bird life was the most exciting part.

Most memorable was how perfect the accommodation was. Clean, warm, cheery, brilliantly laid out for wheelchair users. The whirlpool bath was fab, especially when using the eco friendly toiletries supplied. Scenery wonderful, something for everyone to enjoy.

Our stay was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, David and Jackie. From the welcoming tea and biscuits on arrival, to our departure, all was everything you could possibly wish for.

Living in a cave for a week was quite extraordinary. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was a lovely break, an adventure which we all enjoyed and gorgeous weather and views in a part of Spain not usually visited by tourists.

The view from each window spectacular and so close to the loch that it was almost like being on a boat at times! Views changed with the stillness of the water or with the time of day and weather. Misty mountains at dawn to orange and red sunsets and each day and time different from dawn to dusk.

This is a wonderful place, very tranquil and relaxing, unless you dislike country sounds (cockerels crowing, goats bleating and of course the hooting of owls at night!). We absolutely loved it and think anyone with a soul would do so too!

Looking round the forge in the B&B was fascinating and discussing how it operated. Also the meal at the lovely nearby pub and trying to do their pub quiz.

The region is beautiful, and Federico was a great host. We had a great conversation with him and enjoyed the home-made wine.

The location was beautiful, the house stunning, the town of Kenmare a real treat, the breakfast a whole food feast and Anne's manner is a perfect balance of trust and hospitality.

Pretty good: if the area were more interesting we'd certainly go back to that cottage, as it was very good for 2 adults and 2 room-dwelling teenagers. But a week was enough for that part of Donegal.

When Richard Branson was trying to fly round the world in a balloon, a disabled friend of mine said "If he's so desperate for thrills, he should try using a wheelchair for a week. I get that kind of excitement every time I try to cross the road!" Maybe that was a little exaggerated, but I knew what he meant. As a wheelchair user of some 30+ years, I've had to live in a world that was less than perfect when it came to meeting my needs. I'm not talking about the outer reaches of Mongolia either; I'm talking about the UK. At least things here have been improving. The same, however, can't be said for most of the rest of the world and there's nothing like the annual holiday to bring this into sharp focus. Whilst many 'Responsible Travellers' are contemplating a trip to the depths of the Amazon rainforest or the top of the Himalayas, I'm dreaming of wheeling along the front at Benidorm!
