Apart from staying in such a quiet, beautiful scenic area we were so lucky to watch a barn owl and sparrow hawk hunting at dawn and dusk outside our lodge.

(more)The owners have designed the campsite to be super eco friendly with compost toilets and one solar heated shower. All the washing products and toiletries are eco-friendly too... It's clear that the owners have done their best to think of the environmental impact of everything. (more)A particular highlight was the welcome we received from Carrie and Colin. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we could possibly want, including maps, guide books and a lift to and from Fowey in the evening.

The surfing lesson was wonderful, the spa treatments were fantastic, relaxing and rejuvenating, the general ambience of the hotel was wonderful and the staff could not do enough to help you or make your stay relaxing and fantastic! (more)
