Matt and Caroline made arrangements for us to ride, snowshoe and ski. We had never skied before and had thought that we were too old to try. However we went and took a couple of lessons and we loved it.

The peace and tranquillity were sublime. A lovely property with all the mod cons (even a coffee machine) however in wonderful rural surrounds. The garden of the property was a delight. The countryside of the Loire was beautiful, the village a short bike ride away.

Marks out of 10 - 10! Really enjoyed the set up of the cabin, very thoughtfully done with lots of information, loads of smashing little touches (loved the walkie talkies!) & fresh baked muffins as a welcome did it for me. The location was exquisite.

It is almost impossible to highlight any one part of this wonderful holiday. It was the sheer attention to detail, excellent itineraries and food, thoughtfulness towards clients and generosity of all involved in the organisation, to pass on their considerable knowledge about the area that made it all so perfect.

Excellent. Having 5 separate en suite bathrooms is so beneficial and comfortable. We felt very well looked after and consider that Anna went above and beyond the call of duty to give us as much support and information as possible.

I think we chose well; the gite was just what we wanted, beautifully situated... The landscape was the real asset of the region, thickly wooded slopes, ravines and blue skies.

I think the scenery on the Brittany coast was the most memorable part, and a wonderful meal we had on our last day, plus some great visits to local artisan producers.

Our room was a good size, air con (we were there in August) and clean. The pool was just right too. Location is excellent - far better than being in one of the towns. Meals are eaten outside in the evenings and several (including us) suggested they modified the lighting.

We loved being surrounded by historic French villages; staying in a beautiful rustic (but VERY comfortable) 19th century stone cottage; the warmth and approachability of our hosts Nicole and Alex Crawford; and being spoilt for choice when arranging our daily activities.

Most memorable were the looks on the children's faces as they realised were staying in a log cabin! Also the sense of achievement, climbing the Eiffel Tower.

Great base for a large family or 2 families in peaceful surroundings. Lovely cottage with excellent facilities.

The Ariege region of Southern France is breathtaking. The scenery is unsurpassed. We enjoyed walking in the foothills of the Pyrenees and sitting with the owners of the B & B.
