The entire experience was an absolute blast. The kindness of the staff - the peaceful location - the delicious food - the interesting history of the place- the wonderful antique furniture - the eccentric fellow travellers.... If you are after a different kind of holiday where you can both relax and have a few adventures this is it.

It is perfect for anybody who is happy to make their own enjoyment. (more)Fantastic! (more)For a burnt out, stressed westerner, the village home stay gave me a much more therapeutic experience than checking into a 5 star spa hotel, for a few days. The simplicity, ancient resonances of the village and slower pace of life quickly made stress melt away.
