It's hard to say what the most memorable thing was but one memory that stands out is being served an absolutely delicious breakfast every day at a table with a perfect white table cloth surrounded by flowers, friendly hens and kittens - all right on the edge of a stunning beach!
(more)Istanbul was a great place to stay, with so much to do. The accommodation was in a brilliant location to enjoy both the historic sights and going out. It has been beautifully restored and was perfect for a couple. (more)We thought the service was excellent. We loved the laid back attitude...On a few evenings we had dinner on the beach with a fire underneath the beautiful starry sky which we thought was quite special. We spend a great two weeks at the retreat. Porridge (the manager) and his staff make anything possible and are very nice to be with. A very friendly atmosphere at the accommodation as well as in the village. Beautiful garden around the accommodation and a great beach below.
(more)It was really nice to feel, just for a minute, that we were part of an organic farm, as this is my dream. We had a small glimpse into the hard work but satisfying life of organic farming. The accommodation was beautiful and Francesco and Monia (the owners) took great care refurbishing the old farm house, being sensitive to the architecture, nature and the Umbrian tradition. (more)The hotel is in a lovely forested area, which is very handy for lots of places in Andalucia. The hotel is very relaxed and friendly. The most exciting part was seeing clouds of buzzards, vultures and eagles rising up over the plains on the thermals on their migration route over the Straits of Gibraltar.
