The whole environment of the backwaters was amazing but to have the chance to say right on the edge of it was incredible, and in such a beautiful house.

The most memorable parts were enjoying cooking lessons with a bat flying over head. Scrubbing baby elephants clean with a coconut shell. Eating the most amazing food in a cosy family atmosphere. (more)We find it hard to pull out one memorable part of our 3 days with Rajat and family at their wonderful home in the Nilgiri Hills. I think though if we had to pick one thing it would be the extraordinary warmth, hospitality and kindness bestowed on us by the family from the moment we stepped out of the car. We were made to feel like long-lost family or best friends.

This accommodation is a visually beautiful Portuguese villa, traditionally furnished in Portuguese style with enormous, high-ceilinged rooms in lush, well-kept gardens. It is perfect for anybody who is happy to make their own enjoyment. (more)
