The location is perfect for sightseeing in Sintra, cliff walking, forest trails, beach visits, day trip to Lisbon or Cascais, good and reasonable eating options...the perfect cocktail of good accommodation , helpful hosts, location, scenic walking, sightseeing and food.

Living in a cave for a week was quite extraordinary. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was a lovely break, an adventure which we all enjoyed and gorgeous weather and views in a part of Spain not usually visited by tourists. Some of the most memorable parts of the holiday were: finding eggs in the hen house, lying in the bath at Fisherman's Cottage watching the sea, wine tasting at La Cantina, Teguise & at El Grifo Bodega and driving on the fabulous, twisty, unique scenic roads.
