This really was the best holiday we have ever had, we have struggled in the past to find somewhere that everyone enjoys which is difficult with young active children, but this accommodation and Ithaca really did mean we relaxed and enjoyed time with them whilst they also had a great time. None of us wanted to leave and we will definitely go back.

(more)It's hard to say what the most memorable thing was but one memory that stands out is being served an absolutely delicious breakfast every day at a table with a perfect white table cloth surrounded by flowers, friendly hens and kittens - all right on the edge of a stunning beach! We were in Rose, the smaller cottage, and the views were beautiful...The whole family, including boys of 10 and 5, loved it. Being on a croft with the animals made it extra special. The richness of the wildlife surprised us every day. One morning we saw dolphins swimming along the shore. Another dawn we came upon a sea turtle laying her eggs. (more)

10/10 it was fantastic couldn’t fault it. My daughter who is 1 and half really enjoyed it with all the animals would really recommend. Best holiday in the UK.

The rooms are very private, and look our directly onto the Ocean - we watched a big lightning storm come in as if we were all alone in the world. (more)

This was our second visit to The Cotswolds (last over 4 years ago) and we were charmed anew. Too often our holiday experience has been such we're ready to return home after a few days, but on this occasion a week passed quickly, happily, relatively comfortably.

The lodge is a fantastic place to stay in a stunning setting. The standard of accommodation is very high, with simple but good quality furnishings, and the set-up for families in two-storey rooms works very well.
