It's hard to say what the most memorable thing was but one memory that stands out is being served an absolutely delicious breakfast every day at a table with a perfect white table cloth surrounded by flowers, friendly hens and kittens - all right on the edge of a stunning beach!

This was our second visit to The Cotswolds (last over 4 years ago) and we were charmed anew. Too often our holiday experience has been such we're ready to return home after a few days, but on this occasion a week passed quickly, happily, relatively comfortably.
(more)The bedroom we chose was magic and I'll never forget going down the escarpment garden to the cliff walk at the bottom - that was brilliant. We were in Rose, the smaller cottage, and the views were beautiful...The whole family, including boys of 10 and 5, loved it. Being on a croft with the animals made it extra special. (more)This really was the best holiday we have ever had, we have struggled in the past to find somewhere that everyone enjoys which is difficult with young active children, but this accommodation and Ithaca really did mean we relaxed and enjoyed time with them whilst they also had a great time. None of us wanted to leave and we will definitely go back.

The richness of the wildlife surprised us every day. One morning we saw dolphins swimming along the shore. Another dawn we came upon a sea turtle laying her eggs. (more)The surfing lesson was wonderful, the spa treatments were fantastic, relaxing and rejuvenating, the general ambience of the hotel was wonderful and the staff could not do enough to help you or make your stay relaxing and fantastic! 10/10 it was fantastic couldn’t fault it. My daughter who is 1 and half really enjoyed it with all the animals would really recommend. Best holiday in the UK.

The highlight of my trip was the Jalore Wildlife Sanctuary. I was welcome by the owners of the land and taken around on night safaris by the son Ravindra. (more)

The rooms are very private, and look our directly onto the Ocean - we watched a big lightning storm come in as if we were all alone in the world. (more)

The lodge is a fantastic place to stay in a stunning setting. The standard of accommodation is very high, with simple but good quality furnishings, and the set-up for families in two-storey rooms works very well.
