Atlas Mountains accommodation nr Imlil, Morocco
Imlil was absolutely breathtaking, everywhere you looked was stunning, the accommodation, scenery, mountains, people were all incredible. We arrived on a very cold afternoon, by evening snow was falling and by morning there was 4 inches of snow! (more)
From £30 - £37 per person per night
Essaouira bed and breakfast, Morocco
Essaouira was easily the most relaxing part of our holiday. The accommodation was a lovely place to stay for a few days and Paolo, Hakin and Naima looked after us very well.  (more)
From £50 per house per night
Essaouira apartments in Morocco
Arriving at the accommodation and watching the sun set over the medina from the terrace. Stumbling through the holiday in broken French (although most Moroccans speak several languages). Exploring the souks and markets. Eating the most amazing Moroccan food (personal favourite: kefta et oeuf tajine).  (more)
From £50 per couple per night
Dades valley kasbah accommodation
Excellent! If you just want to relax for a few days I can't think of a better place.  (more)
From €21 - €50 per couple per night
Guest house in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco
The camel ride to the dinner at the Bedouin tent; dinner at the tent; and the night in the "desert" were the most memorable parts.  (more)

Meknes accommodation, Morocco
The moment we entered the riad and realised we were staying in such a fantastic place for 3 days... A lovely place beautifully restored and run by extremely courteous and helpful hosts.  (more)

This was the perfect place to have our honeymoon. It was the most beautiful setting to relax and unwind after our big day and we had such a fantastic time. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone!  (more)

Morocco travel information

With coastlines on the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, Morocco was the cradle of the two historic North African empires that dominated the Iberian peninsula into the 15th century. The Imperial Cities of Fez, Marrakech, Meknes and Rabat all have fascinating architectural monuments, evidence of the country's former wealth and power, and a number of old towns, ancient ruins and markets are listed as World Heritage sites by UNESCO.

The spectacular ranges of the Atlas and Rif mountains, still home to the nomadic Berbers, offer outstanding opportunities for hiking, and trekking on foot or on horseback, with camel-riding also possible in the Atlas mountains as well as around the Sahara Desert area in the southwest.
