The most memorable part of our trip was most likely the scenery we loved the mountains and woodlands. The next was the food as Nick is no doubt an excellent chef and Dasha a specialist with deserts.

The kindness of the staff - the peaceful location - the delicious food - the interesting history of the place- the wonderful antique furniture - the eccentric fellow travellers.... Istanbul was a great place to stay, with so much to do. The accommodation was in a brilliant location to enjoy both the historic sights and going out. It has been beautifully restored and was perfect for a couple. (more)Overall we would rate our holiday 10 out of 10 and fully intend to visit again in the spring, when the wild flowers are blooming. Pick up at the airport as promised and whisked through the darkness to a fantastic, isolated villa, with the sounds of crickets and insects only for nightlife. Not a neon light or disco within many tens of miles. A stunning horizon pool beautifully surrounded by the villa and acres of grounds to explore.
