It was amazing. Really the best one I've ever had. I loved the feel of the place and I felt really at home with out all the baggage of being at home (phone, computer, projects, piles of stuff...)

The location is perfect for sightseeing in Sintra, cliff walking, forest trails, beach visits, day trip to Lisbon or Cascais, good and reasonable eating options...the perfect cocktail of good accommodation , helpful hosts, location, scenic walking, sightseeing and food.

We had a great couple of days. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The yurt and it's garden area are completely private and self contained but near the owners home if you need anything.

The arrival itself was memorable in the way the owner gave us a comprehensive tour of the farm, encouraging us at every step to make the most out of the farm and use the produce. It is clear that for the family that owns and runs the farm, this is much more than mere business. For them this is sharing of values and a way of life.

The most memorable and exciting parts were the beautiful countryside, the delightful cottage and our welcoming hosts.

Every moment of the holiday was special, the walks with wonderful views of the lake, swimming in the lake, the friendship of our hosts Kyle and Niya will never be forgotten.

Hammocks and sun loungers are placed around the garden where guests can while away the hours relaxing, reading or even sketching and painting. There is also a small swimming pool and jacuzzi which are very welcome and soothe aching limbs after long walks in the forested hills.

It is a beautiful place (I loved the cleverly recycled furnishings!), with friendly, helpful staff. I spent a couple of days just wandering around the acres of garden and woodland, and the most memorable part of my stay was sharing meals and spending time with the other guests around the big kitchen table!

The construction of the houses is unique. Silence in the night is complete. The space utilization inside is admirable.
