Wonderful. Couldn't ask for more. The hosts, Derek and Ilaria, were lovely people who could not have done more to assist us and make our stay special. Their speaking three languages was very helpful and our eldest even learnt a couple of words of Spanish and Italian.

Beautiful accommodation and right next to a lovely beach with great and unpretentious Spanish restaurants... Excellent. As good as we had hoped and will go back with our children next year who will also love it!

We had two fantastic days out with Peter Jones a local bird expert who showed us all the wonderful birds and wildlife in the area. (more)Sarah & Kenneth were excellent hosts & really helpful with regards to ideas on how to spend the day, where the best tapas is etc. Also the food at the accommodation is excellent. Staying at a lovely farmhouse in amongst on orchard of orange trees was pretty amazing. (more)The mountains, local environment and seeing an Eagle were the highlights...Self catering cottage looks very comfortable, we had a tour of the cottage, but stayed in the hotel which was equally good. The first sight of the view from the balcony was amazing - and it just carried on being great. Walking up the peak was also great - we saw ibex! Fabulous! Relaxing, interesting and inspiring. We want to come back and will recommend it to everyone we know! (more)
Our hosts showed us the clean and well appointed apartment room by room before inviting us onto the roof terrace for a breathtaking view of the canyon. They recommended freshwater swimming places and varied local eateries, all within easy walking distance. (more)
The glorious setting and the constant sunshine were most memorbale! Also the food cooked by our host, Henry, was always fabulous! It was intereting to stay in a yurt, and to shower in the (almost) open air! So peaceful and scenic, and pleasant company too... (more)
We were very well looked after and enjoyed the accommodation very much. It was nice getting to know some of the other families there...This is a beautiful part of Spain, make sure you have enough time just enjoying the views and soaking up the atmosphere. Excellent - very relaxing, but also educational. The holiday was perfect for our family with three children between 9 and 14 yrs, but seemed equally suitable for those travelling as couples, or with toddlers and babies. We have never previously repeated a holiday, but this is one destination that we will seriously consider going back to. (more)
We had a wonderful week- we were only sorry that we had to return home before the village fiesta which takes place next week end and for which we would love to have stayed. Maybe next year?
(more)Found the use of the old buildings/renovation of them fascinating, retention of old features in the rooms (we had an old oven in ours), the different levels of the garden and the fruit trees - just wonderful.
